We have a unique opportunity for a tenacious social workers to join Plymouth, supporting innovation in practice for children in our care. You will have a small caseload of children as you will be be supporting practice within our teams. You will be workin partnership with social workers and team managers to support creativity, fulfilling practical roles at times and consultative positions at others, depending on the childs circumstances. You will working alongside our teams to identify opportunities forchildren to move from residential placements to other options such as foster care or home; and you will support the prevention of unplanned care admissions for children aged 16 and 17, helping to return them home quickly where it is safe to do so. You willbe a motivational communicator with strong interpersonal skills, and model and lead a restorative and strengths-based approach to professional relationships and practice. You will work to a Team Manager, building confidence in staff to think creatively toput in place positive practice for children.
