Job Description

The South East Regional team are looking for an enthusiastic motivated and experienced Programme Manager who will work on the Nursing agenda supporting the Programme Lead who reports into the Head of Nursing & Midwifery to transform the services through workforce development. The post holder will have contemporary knowledge of workforce issues, new roles and new ways of working related to career progression that impact on education and workforce decisions. This agenda requires strong partnership working, engagement and consultation with a wide range of stakeholders.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to take lead responsibility for a geographical area across the HEE south east region will be essential to support the day to day business requirements for HEE. The role covers a range of duties including performance, project management and reporting support, presenting insightful information to help our executive directors, senior managers and key stakeholders make informed business decisions, liaising with appropriate teams across HEE as required.Relationship building will be an important element of this role and the post holder will be required to develop, implement, and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external senior stakeholders across HEE.We are seeking an experienced professional who is keen to make a difference, promote excellence and drive innovation.The post holder must be able to travel to meet the requirements of the role, including limited travel across offices within the south east region footprint.We are committed to being an exemplar of inclusive and authentic engagement, enabling innovative and productive partnership working. This is an exciting time for you to come and join our innovative & supportive team.Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 7 with a full-time starting salary of £38,890, with pay step increases after 2 years’ service and 5 years’ service.
