Job Description

We are looking for a stand-out candidate, who will display strong attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to manage multiple projects to tight timescales as well as being a team player with a proven track record in an analytical role.If this sounds like you, then Via currently has a fantastic opportunity to join our Business Transformation Team as a Business Analyst based at our Trent Bridge House OfficeThe successful candidate will lead and coordinator Vias business intelligence activity and reporting, working to drive service improvement in support of the companys strategic goals and objectives.About the role:You will lead Vias business intelligence activity and work with key stakeholders to define, develop and report on key business metrics to inform strategic, company-wide decision-making. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of ViasBusiness Analytics software (Power Bi), ensuring legal and technician compliance, data accuracy and user engagement are consistently achieved. Support the Via business with data management, analysis, modelling and process optimisation, seeking to identifyand implement services improvements, upskill colleagues and drive process efficiencies.You will contribute to Vias digital transformation programme through the application and implementation of digital solutions across key service areas with the aim of modernising key processes and improving service performance. Collaborate with the widerBusiness Transformation team by employing effective business analysis and modelling in support of identified company-wide improvement initiatives. Ensure Vias contractual obligations in relation to performance reporting and benchmarking are consistently metand work collaboratively with the NCC Client Team to identify and drive improvements in performance. Maintain awareness of industry best practice in relation to data management, analysis, process optimisation and IT advancements to ensure innovation is promotedand adopted across Via.Candidate Requirements:

  • Substantial technical knowledge and a significant level of experience of working in a performance data environment with excellent data management and analytical skills as well as the ability to analyse, interpret and communicate complex data sets to a widerange of audiences.
  • Ability to develop and maintain business analytics systems and software, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder and change management skills, with the ability to influence and hold colleagues to account at all levels across a complex, multi-disciplinary organisation.
  • Excellent IT skills with demonstrable experience of driving digital transformation and implementing digital solutions to organisational problems.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentational communication skills including the ability to write comprehensive performance reports.
