Digital Marketing Officer – Interim – Derby – Hybrid working – £16.63 p/h – £19.00 p/h PAYE– Start ASAP – 6 Month Contract• Location: Derby 1 day per week on site, with occasional travel across the region (Notts and Derbyshire).• Job Type: Interim full-time• Umbrella rate: £21.10 p/h - £24.20 p/hOur client, a public sector organisation based in Nottinghamshire are seeking an interim Digital Marketing Officer to join our team Communications Officer to join the team. This is an exciting and unique opportunity; the Communications Officer will be involvedin planning and delivery with stakeholders to support new organisational changes across the region.The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating marketing activities with a strong focus on digital marketing. Reporting to the Strategic Communications Manager, this role may also involve supervising assistants or apprentices.Day to Day of the role:• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, SEO, SEM, and PPC.• Develop and maintain websites, managing conversion rate optimisation and SEO reviews.• Manage and develop digital channels and technology to engage audiences and maximise reach.• Contribute to strategy development for paid-digital advertising, social media, and content.• Evaluate marketing activities and digital campaigns, measuring key performance metrics.• Advise on analytics and event tracking on digital platforms such as Google Analytics and Meta Events Manager.• Develop marketing activities based on data, insights, and evidence.• Maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.• Participate in training to develop specialist knowledge in marketing and digital marketing.• Ensure all marketing activities align with legal guidelines and organisational policies.Required Skills & Qualifications:• Considerable marketing skills and experience, with a focus on digital strategies.• Excellent literacy, communication, planning, and evaluation skills.• Experience with budget management and reporting.• Proven organisational skills, able to manage time effectively and work under pressure.• Proficient in ICT, including Microsoft Office, email marketing software, CMS, and design software.• Knowledge of data protection, copyright, and IP issues.• Experience with social media promotion and audience engagement.• Creative with a good eye for design and understanding of SEO.• Experience with Google Analytics and event tracking.• Relevant degree or equivalent experience.• Awareness of the Equality Act 2010 and its application to the role.• Tactful, diplomatic, enthusiastic, and proactive with a friendly personality.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.• Ability to travel for work purposes.To apply for the Digital Marketing Officer position, please submit your CV and cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you are interested in this role.
