Our client is a globally renowned electrical designer and manufacturer who s looking for their next team member! Key Responsibilities:* Provide operational support for Stores and Purchasing functions.* Ensure proper storage and identification of all materials in accordance with good working practices, including batch control for traceability, first in first out, and stock rotation.* Issue and control of component items and consumables using the Companys Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.* Proactively identify, review, and resolve kit shortages to minimise production delays, collaborating with the Purchasing Department as needed.* Procurement responsibilities for certain product groups.* Conduct regular cycle counts of stock levels to maintain accuracy.* Work closely with Purchasing, Quality, and Production teams to avoid and/or rectify unexpected shortages, quality issues, or material stock-outs.* Potential attendance of daily production meetings to plan daily activities.* Collate and provide supporting product documentation required by customers (Material certificates, test reports, etc).* Provide holiday/sickness cover for the Storeman.* Perform general administration, housekeeping, and stock-taking duties as required.Qualifications and Skills:* Computer literacy with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc).* Previous experience with an ERP system is advantageous; full training will be provided.* Previous Stores experience in a fast-moving manufacturing and production environment is a distinct advantage.* Forklift license is preferable; training will be provided for successful candidates without a license.
