Key Responsibilities:As a General Assembly Operative, you will work as part of a small team to perform manufacturing functions in accordance with relevant standards and certification procedures.Duties & Responsibilities:* Mechanical assembly* Hydro testing* Wiring assemblies* Preparation and cleaning down of finished productAdditional Duties & Responsibilities:* Reading and comprehending instructions and following established procedures.* Collecting all materials and equipment needed for the process.* Taking precision measurements to ensure the perfect fit of components.* Selecting or modifying components based on measurements and specifications.* Aligning materials and assembling parts to create complex units.* Conducting quality checks to ensure the highest product quality.* Maintaining equipment in good, clean condition.* Reporting any issues, malfunctions, or defective parts.* Adhering to all health and safety regulations.Skills:* Use of hand tools is an advantage* Full training will be given on the above.Ideal Candidate:To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and qualities:* Proven experience as an assembler is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.* Technical knowledge and the ability to read drawings and adhere to procedures.* Competence in using tools and machines.* A good understanding of quality control principles.* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.* Exceptional hand-eye coordination and physical condition.* A strong commitment to health and safety practices.Salary:£11 - £14 per hour (depending on experience)Benefits:* Company pension* Cycle to work scheme* On-site parking* Sick paySchedule:Monday to Friday 39 hours per weekWork Location:In personIf you are ready to be part of a thriving team in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment, please submit your application today.
