Job Description

Are you a proactive, self-motivated sales/engineering professional and have the appetite for a career with the opportunity for progressServe Talent are working with a successful manufacturing business to recruit a Sales Executive for their facility based on the outskirts of Thetford, Norfolk and after the first few months of training you will have the opportunity to work remote/hybrid.Here is what is on offer:Benefits

Your duties and responsibilities will consist of:
  • To learn and fully understand the Standard Product portfolio of air heaters and controls.
  • To understand our internal proposal programme, costing and heating calculations .
  • Responsible for preparing quotations, calculating, and specifying heating equipment and negotiating orders.
  • Reviewing terms and conditions of sale.
  • Follow up quotation status with customers and be competent in answering technical queries.
  • Identify leads, OEM customers and a distribution network.
  • Develop sales and marketing strategies for new markets and industries.
  • Working towards building relationships with existing customers within specific regions/industries.
  • All business development within regions including some cold calling potential prospects.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
  • You must be enthusiastic and dynamic, with a proven sales record and previous account management experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and common sense are a must.
  • Technical product sales experience is essential preferably in an external sales role.
  • Should have effective communication skills to work closely with senior management and technical people as well as the ability to respond to detailed questions from customers.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate with clients and position as a differentiated product provider.
Must have good analytical skills.
  • Tenacious approach to expanding sales.
