This role presents great opportunities for growth and development for the right candidate.The position is to assist the Managing Director in all duties with the aim of further progression within the company. The position is very much hands on, the successful candidate must demonstrate strong, dynamic, methodical leadership abilities. Technical skills of erecting traditional and frame marquees are essential. A clear will to succeed is also vital. A good common-sense view on health and safety is welcome, as are social skills, and a blanket knowledge of business operations. This is a position that is demanding on your time, demanding physically and mentally, however is truly rewarding both financially and in terms of personal development.A typical day in the life of a Marquee Erector Project Leader would involve: -Managing your work crew.· Loading and unloading vehicles with the required event hire infrastructure according to paperwork and job requirements.· Installing and dismantling marquees & setup of equipment onsite (with build and dismantle goals met).· Motivating crew so they are working efficiently and keep a positive attitude.· Maintaining and cleaning of hire equipment.· Supporting the office and company manager.· Leading a team for successful deliveries and installation deadlines.· Liaising onsite with the client to manage expectations and deliver an impeccable finished product.· Liaising and communicating with suppliers.The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessary within the organization.Requirements· Experience in various temporary structure / marquee installations· A good knowledge of the wedding and the temporary structure / marquee industry· A good understanding of electrical installations and event power· Good client communication· Demonstrate efficient working practises.· A good eye for detail· Health and safety rules observed and implemented.· Class 1 (C1+E) Driving and trailer licence required, Forklift certificate (advantageous)· Enjoy physical work and love being outdoors.· Have a genuine desire to see a job through to the end with a very high level of detail.· Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to think on the run.· Thrive on working in a team environment and managing and motivating others.· Desire to grow both personally and professionally within our business.Please apply below if youre interested or would like more information.
