Job Description

Reed are working with a fantastic charitable organisation based in Norwich, recruiting for the position ofHR Advisorto join the team on a Permanent, Part Time basis.You work as part of a close-knit friendly HR Team, delivering the full range of HR Services to support the Charity, supporting the company’s strategic and operational needs, the development of HR policies and delivery of projects.The role

  • Provide an efficient HR service covering all aspects of employee’s relationship and engagement including, employment T&C’s, ongoing development and exit.
  • Build relationships with staff and contractors, provide advice &guidance on a range of HR policies &HR related issues.
  • Collaborative recruitment activityto ensure engagement of candidates, processes are compliantand advisemanagers on recruitment strategies. Creating and placing adverts, arranginginterviews, candidate liaison, involvement in interview and selection events,pre-employment checks and contractadministration.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment paperwork- Monitoring of mandatory e-training modules,managing the DBS checks and organising occupational health compliance.
  • Raising contract paperwork and amendments to T&Cs,ensuring electronic staff records are updated accurately in accordance with governance and GDPR.
  • Contributing topayroll provision by ensuing information is processed accurately, address and rectify any issues and process improvements.
  • Review, develop and implement policies,ensuring compliance.
  • Support staff engagement: staff flight programme, staff survey delivery, staff Induction events and contributing to the delivery of staff days.
  • Responsible for clinical appraisal system, delivering a compliant process, making improvements or updates required by changing legislation. Working with the Responsible Officer to submit Medical Revalidation Annual Organisational Audit and Quarterly AppraisalReport, ensuring all paperwork is evidenced in the required time.
  • Provide support to managers and employees on ER matters, from wellbeing to capability, grievance and performance management issues, undertaking investigations with a Manager and the provision of adminsupport in meetings / hearings.
  • Creating workforce statistics from the PeopleHR
  • Maintain knowledge of changes in employment law
Person Specification
  • CIPD Level 5or working towards. CIPD Level 7 would be desirable.
  • 3rd Sector / NHS background is desirable although not essential
  • Experience Supporting/managing a varied ER caseload
  • Up to date knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Experience supporting with or delivering HR projects
  • Working with HR information systems
  • Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills: ability to influence, persuade and negotiate
  • Analytical with good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Confident and approachable
  • Attention to detail
  • Full clean driving licence with access to own vehicle
Package
  • Salary of £26,000-£30,000 FTE dependant on experience
