We are proud to be working on behalf of a globally renowned designer and manufacturer of electric process heating and control systems.A new opportunity has arisen for a Document Controller to join a successful and dynamic team and business.The role holder will transmit, coordinate, track and file documents for our projects and assist in their preparation.To be successful in this role, previous experience working with technical documentation and within a technical environment is desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Document Control Manager in executing departmental responsibilitiesMaintain accurate / live document status records via electronic document management systems on a project-by-project basis for internal documents and external client and sub-supplier documents.Create and update project specific documents (e.g. Supplier Document Registers, Compile Manufacturing Data Books)Review for accuracy and update project documents where able / assigned, or distribute for appropriate actionManage the flow of documentation within the organization and externally with clients and sub-suppliersLiaise with appropriate personnel; externally and internally to ensure on time document flow.Prepare ad-hoc reports on project documentation as neededCreate, copy, scan and store documents electronically or physically as requiredContribute to continuous improvement of departmentRequirements and skillsProven work experience as a Document Controller or in a Technical Administrative Role.Experience working within an ISO 9001 accredited environmentDemonstrable experience of and confidence in using MS Office Suite of programmesKnowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) or other electronic database management systemsProficient typing and editing skillsData organization skillsAnalytical approach with attention to detail and accuracy
