Job Description

Are you immediately available and looking for work based in near WattonOur client is looking for a Contract Administrator to join their expanding team.This role is initially on a temporary basis however for the right candidate could become permanent.This role is a 37.5-hour week and comes with free parking. Ideally, they are looking for someone to work in the office however over time there could be scope for the odd day working from home. Provide proactive support to the Contracts function in the business. Proficient in using Microsoft office software suite. Disciplined and detail conscious approach to work processing and recording. Candidate will be required to undertake the role from joining the business with previous experience of similar type roles being essential. Knowledge of the construction industry would be an advantage.ROLE Liaise with suppliers to obtain and place various plant, equipment, and material orders Generate all necessary formal contract purchase orders and record committed costs Liaise with suppliers to update and co-ordinate delivery dates to suit contract programme requirements Maintain various cost control / tracking schedules in support of materials, labour and plant purchases.
