Job Title:Assistant credit controllerLocation: WattonSalary:20-23kTechnique Recruitment Solutions are again working on behalf of a globally renowned designer and manufacturer of electric process heating and control systems and are looking for aAssistant credit controller.About The RoleWorking within a small team ensuring timely collection of payments from companies located around the world ensuring that the financial position of the group is safeguarded, and credit risk minimised. Responsible to the Credit control Manager.DutiesRaise invoices and credit notes including proforma invoices.Issue monthly customer statements.Issue chasing letters.Work to meet monthly cash collection targets, ensuring sales ledger cash is posted and reconciled.Preparation and or collection of supporting invoice documents as required within contracts.Liaising with the appropriate teams within the group to ensure issues are resolved efficiently allowing cash to be collected.Obtain credit reports and work with the sales team to suggest and agree commercial credit limits and payment terms.Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and on stop reports.Skills/ExperienceWill have some experience in a credit control role.Will have strong interpersonal and influencing skills.Will have a positive and proactive attitude and be able to use their own initiative.Will be proficient in Microsoft Office packages and have worked with an ERP system
