Job Description

Are you an ambitious & energetic individual looking to start a career within the Insurance IndustryWe have an exciting opportunity in our Jensten London Market Fleet team for a Broking Support Assistant with full training given. The role is within our Watnall office, easily commutable from Nottingham and Derby.You will be working in a close-knit friendly team that enjoy socialising together and really know what a support working environment is. Although this is an office based role, once probation has been completed, there is the opportunity to work on a hybridbasis to provide a good work life balance.Some key objectives & responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of Pre-renewal and New business documentation.
  • Communicate with Partner Brokers and Underwriters as appropriate (e.g., requesting information & documentation.)
  • Answering incoming calls, dealing with queries.
  • Assist and maintain data entry input of business enquiries received & transacted by the Broking team.
  • Debiting and processing of renewals, new business, and adjustments.
  • Observe the regulations issued by Financial Conduct Authority and other regulatory bodies.
  • Incorporate the group’s values into every procedure.
About youYou will have some experience within a client/customer facing role, this could have been gained from within a similar office-based role or working in environments such as (but not limited to) retail, hospitality, food & beverage etc.You’ll also be or have:
  • Good literacy and numeracy
  • A confident communicator, both verbal and written
  • A collaborative and innovative approach to working
  • The ability to act with integrity at all times
  • Be approachable and helpful
  • Good IT skills including, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
