Customer Service Assistant – Dearne Valley Sports CentreHours; Part time (18hrs per week, all year round)Duration; PermanentSalary; £20,048 (£9,850.38 pro-rata) per annum + benefitsLocation; Dearne Valley College, Rotherham About the RoleAs a Customer Service Assistant within the Dearne Valley Sports Centre you will provide a high-quality customer service experience to members, potential members, students and colleagues in additional to being responsible for billing and membership paymentsensuring all revenues are collected on a monthly basis.As a Customer Service Assistant, you will undertake reception duties at the Sports Centre, acting in a welcoming and professional manner to all customers. You will be responsible for sign ups and managing our memberships, ensuring our database is updated.You will liaise with the finance department by preparing and sending files and reports pertaining to funds associated with the Sports Centre and ensure finance procedures meet the needs of internal financial policies.You will…To be successful as a Customer Service Assistant, you will have previous experience working within an administration or customer service environment, ideally within the leisure of hospitality industry. You will hold a level 3 qualification in business administration, or similar and You will hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths or be willing to work towards. Department InfoThis role is based within the Dearne Valley Sports Centre facility, where you will be in contact with members of the general public using the facilities, students of the colleges that are part of the RNN Group, including internal staff colleagues. You willliaise with other departments across the organisation. The role of Customer Service Assistant reports directly to the Sports Centre Manager and you will also work closely with other members of the Sports Centre.Our state-of-the-art Fitness63 gym suite is a 70-station, fully air-conditioned facility with an extensive range of cardiovascular and strength-training equipment.
