Role: Audit Assistant Location: South YorksContract: Full time, permanentSalary: £20,048 per annumAbout the role The Audit assistant role is a key part of our Management Information Systems Department. The role is critical and the post-holder will support the effective auditing of all paperwork/data to ensure we are meeting all our funding requirements.The post holder will support the auditing of all documentation and highlight any issues to the Audit and ILR Officer, including departments sitting outside of MIS, that have direct impact on our funding requirements.The role requires working closely with Campus and Curriculum Managers and support staff to ensure that an accurate and responsive service is provided.Through a proactive, enthusiastic and customer focused approach you will help the College achieve our mission to provide skills for the future of our students and community, through outstanding teaching and learning. Your work will ultimately lead to a highquality, robust and MIS service plus positive development of the College reputation.Main Duties• Provide assurance of accurate data through internal audit systems and processes.• To carry out robust desk-based reviews on learner documentation to ensure the College returns valid ILRs and funding claims.• Assist the Audit and ILR Officer in providing clean and accurate college data to ensure the financial stability of the college.• Be conversant with ESFA funding rules and data collection requirements; and keep informed on any changes affecting college funding and data operations.• To liaise with the ILR Manager to ensure the learner data contained within the ILR is accurate and relevant.Requirements • To have undertaken a similar role or worked in a similar environment.• Good understanding of funding rules and data collection requirements.• Able to meet challenging deadlines on a regular basisBenefits of working for REED Further Education/Our Client:
