Job Description

HRGO are currently recruiting for an Emergency Call Handler on behalf of a Public Sector health organisation based in Dearne Valley. This is a ongoing position with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.Job Title: Emergency Call HandlerLocation: Dearne ValleyHourly Pay Rate:Weekdays 06.00 to 20.00 £10.09Nights 20.00 to 06.00 and Saturdays £13.62Sundays and Bank Holidays £17.15Please only apply if you can cover all shift patterns, which includes Nights and Weekends.Qualifications3 GCSEs at grade C or above (or an equivalent qualification) including EnglishRSA Level 3, (or equivalent keyboard skill)Experience Required

  • Previous call centre environment
  • Understanding of medical terminology
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Remain calm under pressure
  • Handle traumatic, emotional and distressing situations
  • The ability to manage and support others during times of crisis -most commonly during an emergency call
  • Parking on site is available.
