A rapidly growing and very profitable distributor of premium dog and cat food is looking for a detail orientated and enthusiastic Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Hemel Hempstead.BASIC SALARY: £30,000 - £40,000BENEFITS:· Bonus 10% · Pension · Private Health Cover · Life Insurance (4 x basic salary) · 25 Days Holiday plus StatsLOCATION: Hemel HempsteadCOMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: St Albans, Luton, Watford, AmershamJOB DESCRIPTION: Supply Chain Analyst : Pet Food / FMCGThis is a challenging and analytical role managing a comprehensive supply chain involving both 3rd party product manufacturing and packaging.Your main responsibilities will be. · Co-ordinating demand and supply plan of the S&OP (Sales & Operation Planning) process · Communicating the production requirements for production and packaging to 3rd parties (product manufacturers, packaging suppliers) and assist in co-ordinating transport · To work in tandem with the Business Planning Manager to co-ordinate movement of goods between manufacturers and 3 PLs in UK and Europe · Building relationships with suppliers and build in the processes in place to maximise performance vs KPIsPart of an overall company team of 28 and reporting to the Business Planning Manager, you will be supported/mentored by experienced members of the team.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Supply Chain Analyst : Pet Food / FMCG· We would be delighted to receive applications from analytical Supply Chain professionals with experience of ERP systems (supply side a distinct advantage), excellent communication skills and exposure to an FMCG environment in either a manufacturing or distribution environment. · We would equally be interested in receiving applications from existing supply chain/procurement professionals from a manufacturing/distribution environment looking to progress into a more analytical role.Why usWe are a small team of passionate pet owners.
