Job Description

The Customer Team is looking for a Senior Designer to join theTeam!The RoleAs Majestic Wine, Senior Designer you will work closely with the Customer Team to create, design, adapt and evolve various campaign creative across all deliverables. Deliver accurate & high-quality finished artwork across digital and print. Manage creativeprojects from start to finish, across suppliers and stakeholders in the Customer Team and teams across the wider business. Understand and support the Majestic trade plan, and make design decisions that influence the success of campaigns based on customer data,testing and feedback.Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality finished artwork for digital and print, right for rollout, with zero errors.
• Design pixel-perfect visuals for Majestic.co.uk and digital applications; banners, static pages, emails, on time
• Layouts for print with strong typography and engaging designs
• Designing mobile-first applications and responsive digital design; adapting for A/B testing and personalisation.
• Think creatively and develop new design concepts.
• Organising, art directing and delivering campaign photography for print and web.
• Managing and mentoring freelance and junior design support.
• To support and work closely with suppliers (eg print) to achieve deadlines with zero errors.
• Communicate and liaise with clients (internal and external), take job briefs, and present ideas to stakeholders.
• Lead and present in design review and production meetings.
• Participate in 1-to-1 meetings and keep managers up to date.
• Delivering consistency across project sizes and brand applications.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• A keen interest in keeping up-to-date in design and retail industry trendsan awareness of what competitors are doing in the industry.
• Expert knowledge in print production and artwork
• An understanding of digital and social media creative and production
• Relevant creative education such as HND or degree level
• 3 years + working in an internal creative studio
• Presenting work to the wider team & receive and apply feedback
• Experienced in creating and executing creative campaigns from conception through to delivery
• Managing and art directing basic photo shoots
• Sourcing images relevant to the project
• Experience in wine label creative and production is an advantage but not essential
• Experience in After Effects, Premiere Pro, google slides an advantage but not essential
• Technical and expert design skills across software, print, and digital applications such as Creative Suite, Photoshop, Idesign, Illustrator
• Attention to detail must be second-to-none
• Filing and managing accurately files on the server
• Highly organised and self-motivated with a proven ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure
• Ability to estimate the time required to complete, and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Able to think on their feet and respond with visually stunning and appropriate ideas.
• Ability to deliver and receive feedback.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
