A Remote Senior Ruby-on-Rails Engineer is wanted to help hands-on architect the next stage in evolution for a brilliant, Automotive-Tech brand that needs you to help both refine and develop their systems. These are one of the largest Electric Vehicle providersin the UK and provide cars to over 1m employees globally.Location: UK wide almost-remote - some ad hoc per-month travel in may be requiredSalary - 60k - 90k (multiple hires and paid as per seniority) + (bonus, heavily discounted car, health, pens)The Senior Ruby-on-Rails Engineer role will truly reward the engineer in you. A new greenfield project, architecting their services around the monolith, creating major new UIs with Ruby for improved customer journeys online, develop new client applicationsand be a senior peer in the team.Location: UK Remote, 1 - 2 times in the officeSalary: <65k - £90k + bonus + benefits + 0% taxed benefit-in-kind company car - tell us where you are with salary and we can have a conversation.As Senior Ruby-on-Rails Engineer youll be happy to apply their problem-solving skills agnostically to develop systems. In the early stages, youll be a major force driving their services architecture, will help develop their UI, new Salesforce implementation/ integration, and new feature implementations to follow will be crucial to additional growth of a £200m turnover company.In addition, youll be helping the CTO and Head of Engineering modernise the stack significantly.As one of the seniors, you will support and lend input to decisions on new architecture paths and help realise that target architecture. Youll own major projects and be highly visible within the business as a result.Essentials:A Senior Ruby-on-Rails Engineer - youll love Ruby-on-Rails but youll be comfortable using other languages to improve performance.Agile literate and strong standards for coding and test coverage (TDD, BDD)Able to lead on projects and develop complex systemsProjects will be Back and Front end oriented, so a skillset across "the stack" would be ideal, but were open to both skillsetsIntrigued by a full services architecture greenfield programme, and being one of its architects.BeneficialsThis is a great Senior Ruby-on-Rails Engineer opportunity to work fully remotely (apart from 1 day a month with the team, or more if you would rather).
