Job Description

Are you a dynamic individual who wants to grow and develop in a company thats revolutionising retailAre you highly organised and self-motivated with a proven ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines under pressureDo you have experience using SQL or Data Science ToolsIf you have answered yes to these questions, Majestic Wine would be delighted to hear from you!The RoleAs Majestic Wines CRM Data Analyst, you will be responsible for generating meaningful actionable insights that help us understand our customers, increase engagement, drive sales and improve customer experience as well as provide customer group selections/segmentsto use in marketing communications.Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis
  • Utilise the database to provide robust and accurate customer forecasts at strategic segment level
  • Maintain and update customer forecasting model to ensure it is based on the latest up to date performance data
  • Provide insightful analytics to answer key business questions
  • Provide meaningful customer data to support new store planning and manage ongoing review of new store performance at customer level
Customer Database
  • Support the Customer and Data Analytics Manager in the day to day running of the customer database
  • Production of store call lists including bringing in automation to the process
  • Monitor the regular data transfer processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of the data particularly around the Single Customer View
  • In conjunction with our Customer Contact team and stores ensure all escalated customer contact preference requests are actioned in line with GDPR
  • In conjunction with CRM team provide customer selections for agreed activity specifically DM and email
Knowledge & Skills Required:
  • Graduate Degree in Mathematics, Science or Economics essential
  • 2-4 yrs of SQL data experience
  • In depth experience of data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI, or experience data science tools such as Python or R an advantage
  • Strong multi-tasking skills & attention to detail
  • Analytical and methodical problem solver with a high attention to detail
