Job Description

This permanent Collections Officer - Financial Services role is offering Hybrid working around the Watford area with great public transport links and an opportunity to develop a fast tracked career with the regulated and growing Financial Services arenaClient DetailsAt this Financial Services Group they encourage a flexible way of working. Which means they are needing more Collections Officers to lead from the front in supporting customers and keep them on the top of theirgame. This is a permanent role offering hybrid working around the Watford area for the right enthusiastic and proactive individual who will enjoy working in a fast-paced environmentDescriptionCollections Officer - Financial Serv. duties and responsibilities;

  • Advise customers on collections proceedings and process
  • Work with customers to ensure accurate collections
  • Demonstrating fantastic customer service expertise, such as empathy and listening skills, using the information shared with you to support your customers to make informed decisions
  • Partner with internal stakeholders
  • Assist on projects
  • Support the manager to develop professionally
ProfileCollections Officer - FS experience and characteristics required;
  • Be a good communicator, great listener and able to demonstrate empathy when needed
  • Experience working in a Contact Centre environment before, or have extensive experience within a customer-facing role, ideally in a regulated collections role
  • Show longevity in one of your most recent roles
  • An understanding of regulatory requirements within the financial services industry or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Be confident about speaking to customers on the phone, and updating systems with what you have agreed
  • You have a can-do attitude and want to build a career within financial services
