An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Systemic Psychotherapist in Adult Community Mental Health services within HPFT, which has recently received a rating of Outstanding from CQC.This post is based in the South West Quadrant of Hertfordshire, located in Watford, but will likely involve some work across nearby Borehamwood as well.The post holder will be expected to work with clients presenting with a wide range of complex mental health difficulties, including Anxiety, Depression, PTSD and Psychosis amongst others. The post holder will receive high quality supervision to support them in their role. They will join a well-established, supportive team of psychological therapists who offer assessment and a range of different psychological interventions within a multidisciplinary community mental health team. There is a wealth of experience and knowledge of different therapeutic approaches within the team and regular opportunities for peer reflection and supervision. We are looking to attract applicants with an interest in working systemically with families and individuals.The post holder will also be provided with CPD opportunities, including training opportunities in psychological approaches to psychosis and Autism Spectrum Conditions amongst others.Any applicants must have a qualification as either a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, or as a Systemic Family Therapist and be registered to practice with a professional body.
