Job Description

The Accounts Payable role is a key part of the Accounting & Finance team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the accounts payable function.Client DetailsOur client is a market leader, based in Watford, they pride themselves on their high standards of operational excellence and commitment to employee development.Description

  • Process, verify and reconcile invoices in a timely manner
  • Manage payment cycles to ensure suppliers are paid within agreed terms
  • Handle vendor queries and build strong relationships
  • Maintain the SAP system, ensuring accuracy of data
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Accounting & Finance team
  • Adhere to internal controls and company policies
  • Assist with month-end closing
  • Support ad-hoc projects as required by the business
ProfileA successful Accounts Payable should have:
  • A strong understanding of SAP
  • Excellent numerical and analytical abilities
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
