Job Description

Opportunity for a service coordinator to join a business that has historically achieved greater than 20% yearly growth!The salary on offer is £25,000 - £30,000 with excellent benefits, a discretionary bonus of up to 10%, pension, 24 days of holidays, plus eight bank holidays, a cash healthcare plan for routine healthcare needs, optical, dental physiotherapy, well-being,and counselling: state-of-the-art spacious offices and seminar suite, free on-site parking, EV chargers, and free fresh fruit on the first Monday of every month. The hours of work are days Monday to Friday.The hiring company is a global organisation with four international subsidiaries, their culture is friendly, and they enjoy very low staff turnover rates. The business has gained an enviable reputation for being a stable, considerate employer with excellentcareer development opportunities.As the service coordinator, you will support the service department in all duties associated with scheduling the workload of field service engineers. The role is primarily office-based, but some potential for part-time home-working will be available furtherdown the line. Detailed responsibilities will include:-

  • Scheduling of UK field service engineers and resource allocation of engineers to jobs, including coordination of non-contract repairs, warranty repairs, installations and on-site customer/engineer training.
  • Managing customer expectations regarding installs and repairs.
  • Updating the CRM database with service visit information.
  • Dispatching service orders from the system to allow invoicing.
  • Coordinating the logistics of engineer travel, including flights, hotels, visas, etc.
  • Collating and reporting information to monitor service engineer performance
  • Managing shipping parts priority as it relates to post-sales support.
  • Creation of service contract renewals, out-of-warranty contracts and new contracts.
  • Managing Customer feedback.
  • Answering service line calls.
To be successful in your application for the service coordinator, you will need the following: -
  • Experienced gained as a service coordinator, personal assistant (PA), office manager, transport planner etc.
  • Strong organisational, customer service and administration experience.
  • A good level of general IT skills.
