Job Description

Engineering Internal Quality Assurer (IQA)Washington£33,000-£35,000 per annum.Hybrid- 1 day WFH Full time, permanent- 36 hours per week.Pertemps Work Based Learning are working in partnership with a fantastic independent training provider based in the North East focusing on Apprenticeships, AEB and short courses. They are currently looking for an Engineering IQA to join their team to guaranteethat all personnel uphold the utmost standards of quality and compliance, and to meticulously oversee the advancement of learners by executing their internal quality strategy in a strong and effective manner.The role of an Engineering IQA:

  • Responsible for the development and management of the internal quality strategy and ensuring compliance and best practice in line with award body and other regulatory bodies.
  • Accountable for managing and maintaining all IQA processes and manage any action points from External Quality Assurance visits.
  • To organise and run External Quality Assurance visits within the scope of area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for internal quality of learner files ensuring standards achieved and identifying referral actions.
  • Accountable for the timely completion of all IQA documentation and processes and conducting audits, observations, sampling, identifying improvements and ensuing best practice.
  • To undertake any other duties, as required, appropriate to the grade of the post.
The qualifications and experience for an Engineering IQA:
  • L3 Engineering Qualification is essential
  • Recognised assessor award is essential
  • IQA qualification is essential
  • Proven experience in quality assurance within an educational or training context
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards in education and training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analyticabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining high standards of quality
