Hybrid working:Hybrid working is available with set office days & early finish Fridays. 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. The role:This is an exciting hands-onPCB Design Engineering rolebecause the successful Senior PCB Design Engineer will act as a subject-matter expert within the Electronics Team by leading compelling PCB layout activities that includes schematic and PCB design and modifications in Altium Designer to support the team’s development of power and control boards, test hardware, prototypes, etc.PCB Design Engineer Key Skills:

• 3-5+ years minimum industry years’ experience
• Experience in design and development of Printed Circuit Boards
• Experience encompassing high current/high power, as well as small signal and microprocessor-based board designs – Bonus
• Must have experience in the use of Altium Designer - schematic capture
• PCB layout, component generation and library management
• Must be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of the manufacturing processes
• for construction of various types of PCB blank, and how this is controlled and driven from the PCB design data.
• Must have detailed working knowledge of the PCB assembly process in a high volume, quality-driven manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of the key principles of Design for Manufacture and Design for Test, and able to apply these effectively toguide and control PCB design activities.
• Must have experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams with electronic design engineers, mechanical engineers, and others.
• Will ideally have held responsibility to define and manage the PCB layout process and standards for an organisation, including the component library management function.
• Experience of electronics component selection & replacement
• Obsolescence Management
• Power Electronics – Bonus
