Trakm8 is also recognised with the LSE Green Economy Mark.We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Established Engineering team.Main Responsibilities of the role:

Full lifecycle software development of Trakm8 core products including APIs, event-driven microservices and web portal.
Regular meetings with peers and senior staff to discuss development progress.
Research and contribution to help keep our solutions cutting-edge.

Requirements:

Strong demonstrated experience of back-end development with Node.js and Python.
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing secure RESTful APIs.
Experience in developing services capable of efficiently processing high volumes of events such as event-driven architectures, real-time data processing and scalable cloud-based solutions.
Previous experience in relational database technologies like MySQL.
Previous experience with technologies such as Elasticsearch, Redis and Kafka is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience of front-end development with component-based TypeScript frameworks like Angular.
A conscientious approach and focus to UI/UX design and best practices.
Previous experience in developing dynamic single-page applications.
Proficiency in version control tools like Git and working in CLI contexts.
Experience with agile development methodologies with tools like Jira.
Enthusiastic and proactive self-starter with the ability to work alone or within a team environment.

Formal qualifications in a computer science or engineering subject.
Excellent technical, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excel in verbal and written communication.
