Job Description

Senior IT Engineer - MSP, Active Directory, MicrosoftBirmingham - £30,000 - £45,000 + BenefitsSenior IT Engineer with solid experience within solid Microsoft knowledge and experience using System Management Tools (ideally ConnectWise) is sought by a growing MSP based in the West Midlands.The successful Senior IT Engineer should have experience and exposure with the following technologies:

  • Solid technical background in Windows Server 2012 - 2019 (MCSA/MCSE)
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange and SQL Server.
  • Solid technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure with focus on Backup and Recovery, Blob Storage, Virtual Machines and VPN Connectivity.
  • Strong virtualisation experience using Hyper-V and ESX.
  • Design and implementation of a Windows 10 environment.
  • Management of Windows using Systems Management Tools. SolarWinds, ConnectWise, SCCM.
The Key Skills & Experiences:
  • MSP Background, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise accordingly.
  • Must have experience of ConnectWise Automate and Manage platforms.
  • Solid technical background in a managed services environment including networks, server hardware, storage, software and telecommunications.
  • Solid technical background in Windows Server 2012 - 2019, and Cloud Services
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange and SQL Server.
  • Good basic networking knowledge, TCP/IP, Firewall, and Wireshark
