Job Description

Do you have project management experience, and are you seeking an interim position Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a company in the public transportation vehicle sectorfind an Interim Project Manager, and the role comes with an attractive rate.As a Project Manager, you will manage the delivery of projects for the design and build of rail and road visitor transportation,from initial order through to final delivery, installation and commissioning. You will also manage the project-specific procurementin engineering and production.In your first few weeks in this Project Manager role, you can expect to:

  • Manage engineering, production, procurement, and installation deadlines
  • Undertake technical monitoring and supervision of project progress, including installation and commissioning
  • Manage procurement and cost control for materials and services
  • Help with the development of quality plans
  • Undertake monitoring of conformity with quality standards, in-house and with suppliers
To apply for this Project Manager role, you will need an engineering degree, preferably in electrical or mechanical. You will also need to be:
  • Passionate about engineering and have demonstrable practical experience - with evidence, either professionally or personally, of restoring cars/tractors/motorbikes
  • Full of a good technical understanding of vehicles, particularly electric cars and/or trains
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to work on multiple parallel projects (essential)
