Job Description

A Leading Utilities Giant based in Warwick are looking for an accomplished Data Analyst with a strong Finance background to join them for an initial 6 month assignment ASAP.Location: Remote currently but Warwick post covid 2/3 days a weekRate: Strong Umbrella rateInterviews & Start: ASAPKey Experience Required:

  • Strong data analysis experience from a finance perspective
  • SAP or S4 Hanna experience and Real Estate module experience ideal but not essential
  • Highly analytical, data driven person
  • Experience managing interfacing between systems. Looking at root cause analysis and problem solving should there be interfacing issues.
  • Financial background/experience essential as the data is financially driven
  • Strong stake holder management skills both internal and external
  • Someone with experience of looking at end to end processes and making improvements
    • Key AccountabilitiesThe Finance Data Analyst will be responsible for the management and implementation of electronic data interchange (EDI) interfaces between SAP S4 HANA and 3rd party supplier systems that is vital to the financial month end process, invoicing and property processes. This will require:Master Data Management* Manage the data extracts with third party providers to ensure alignment between systems to ensure interfaces are successful* Ensure that master data is inline with data standards and policies* Ensure that master data is inline with the HMRC making tax digital requirementsInterface Error Handling and Management* Manage, monitor, and maintain the Real Estate Interfaces* Troubleshoot EDI processing errors, identify the cause, determine possible resolutions, and fix defects in existing interfaces* Ensure interface processes conform to all applicable regulatory and legal requirements* Provide on-going support for existing interfaces* Analyse performance of interfaces and take actions to correct deficiencies* Coordinate with both internal and external trading partners to ensure the efficient processing of transaction data* Provide Interface reporting to key stakeholders* Validate the data interfaces within SAP and validating financial information within SAPProject Management* Serve as the lead interface analyst on small to medium scale projects as designated by department management* Assist with the preparation of necessary project documentation as defined by department managementThis great opportunity is being offered on an Umbrella basis, no LTD companies can be utilised.If you think you have the experience please apply with your CV right now for instant consideration!If you have not heard from us within the next 48 hours your application has been unsuccessful, and we will be in touch when suitable opportunities arise.Pontoon is an employment consultancy and operates as an equal opportunities employer.
