Job Description

Metalis are currently supporting an Electrical wholesaler who are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for disassembling, repairing, reassembling, and testing electric motors, pumps, fans,gearboxes, and other related equipment. The role requires a minimum of 4 years experience in the electrical rewind trade or associated industries.Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test electric motors, pumps, fans, gearboxes, and other electrical equipment.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years experience within the electrical rewind trade or associated industries.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Working Hours:
  • 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (negotiable).
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required.

  • Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
Additional Requirements:
  • A valid driving license is required as some travel is required within the role.
