Northwood Schools, a group of 4, independent, family owned schools in South West London has an opportunity for a School Site Supervisor to work as part of our facilities and maintenance teams.You will be responsible for the site security, health and safety and general maintenace across our buidlings and grounds.On a day to day basis you will:~ Ensure that ground remain secure and safe for our pupils throughout the day~ Undertake general tidying and cleaning of the site, for example clearing leaves from the grounds~ Support the maintenance team in adhoc repairs as the need arises~ Attend to spills, leaks or other ad hoc damage~ Prepare the school for events such as parents evenings, plays and sporting fixtures~ Oversee contractors visiting the siteExperteince of working within a school is useful but not essential, more important is a proactive, common sense approach, as well as an ability to work as part of our team.Hours of work are 9 hours per day, inclduing a lunch break, worked between the hours of 7am and 7pm.Benefits include free lunches while school is in session, training and development opportunties and 5 weeks paid leave in addition to bank holidays.Northwood Schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
