Job Description

IT Manager - macOS and WindowsREPORTS TO: CFOUp to £50K per annum plus benefits. Hybrid working. Based near Putney SW LondonAs IT Manager on-site at this creative agency, you will:

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all aspects of IT and office administration; ensuring the continuous provision of IT & business support.
  • Support the operations of the business and provide proactive technical support to key clients on a range of digital, experiential and creative technology campaigns.
  • Work closely with the CFO and CIO ensuring I.T. budgets, quarterly compliance testing (Sarbanes-Oxley), and infrastructure projects are delivered in a timely manner and the I.T. operations are functional.
  • This is a hands-on position working autonomously and reporting to the group CIO. Candidate must have experience with Apple, Windows, and Servers plus Fiery and print services.
As IT Manager you will:
  • Proactively facilitate a best-in-class IT service
  • Support Creative design teams using Apple Mac, Adobe Creative Cloud and other software packages.
  • Assist business in compliance with IT security policies.
  • Work with the Network team for the provision of IT infrastructure services including desktop applications, Local and/or Wide area networks, IT security, and telecommunications.
  • Ensure compliance with all requirements of Data and Group Security policies, including following all designated policies and procedures as they have been developed.
  • Be responsible for IT hardware, software and maintenance procurement.
  • Develop and maintain a Business Continuity Plan for disaster.
  • Be responsible for researching and evaluating new technologies, attend workshops to keep up to date with Information Technology issues. Including Meeting room and AV solutions for the Office.
  • Manage third party suppliers and partners to support projects, including budget control, negotiating costs, booking suppliers, and overseeing outsourced partners
  • Manage hardware configuration, purchase, and set up for creative technology projects
  • Undertake Software and platform research to identify a solution for specific client projects and events
  • Give support with Dev Ops/system admin tasks for clients including migrating domain ownership, web server management and systems
  • Oversee basic web development including setting up word press sites
  • Provide technical support on live experiential tours including internet, technology and AV planning, implementation, set up and maintenance
  • Give support to internal digital projects, including website updates, digital case studies, show-reels etc as well as managing the online company intranet
  • Provide support on internal innovations, e.g. projection-mapped displays, digital signage, VR headsets etc.
  • Managing/assisting with other ad hoc tasks as and when required
As IT Manager you must have:
  • Strong IT and technical skills
  • Strive for excellence of output and projects
  • Experience working across multiple client projects simultaneously
  • Effective prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Extensive experience with desktop o/s including Windows and macOS
  • Knowledge of Computers/Servers/Printers/SAN/Cloud
  • Knowledge of fundamentals of Networking including DHCP and DNS
  • Experience with remote workers and Netskope/VPN access
