Job Description

Were currently partnering with a leading medical research University to recruit for a Financial Transactions Supervisor for 18 months!The position is due to start in January 2023 on a full-time basis and is offering a competitive annual salary!The candidate must have experience managing staff as well as using Agresso Unit 4!Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Responsibility for supervising the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function
  • Responsible for oversight of and reporting internally on the organisations debt position
  • Responsible for the weekly payment runs, for all methods of payment, to agreed timescales and deadlines, ensuring remittances are distributed and that all items which have been processed and are due for payment have been included
  • Ensuring supplier accounts accurately reflect all transactions (invoices, credit notes, payments etc.)
  • Responsible for implementing policy with regard to collection of debts, bad debt provisions and write-offs, referring to debt collection agencies as appropriate.
  • Attending Debtor Panel meetings as and when required
  • Performing monthly creditor reconciliations and analysis
  • Ensuring regular reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Ensuring regular reconciliation of fee data held in SITS to Agresso
Experience and knowledge required:
  • Must have experience using Agresso Unit 4
  • Must have experience line managing staff
