Production, Warehouse & Dispatch Assistant You will beresponsible for organising and completing daily production and warehouse duties; receiving, storing and physical counting of stock and inventory; packing and dispatch on B2B orders; conferring and co-ordinating activities with other colleaguesand teams; and assisting the Production Manager as required.ProductionYou will assist with production, loading and unloading the UV flatbed printers, cleaning the machinery as required, use the specialist priming machine to ensure all vessels are primed in accordance with the specific job requirements, maintain high standardsof site and machinery preparation at all timesWarehouseYou will maintain a clean and safe warehouse by organising floor space, adhering to safe storage procedures, and recommending improvements and maintain stock and inventory by conducting regular physical counts and highlighting low stock levels for re-orderingto avoid out of stocks / lost sales. You will accept deliveries, unloading and loading as required, both manually and /or using the forklift (subject to training and licence)DispatchYou will pack all B2B orders ensuring the requirements of the courier and client are adhered to, assist with packing and dispatch of B2C orders as required, liaising with appropriate colleagues for personalised packaging materials to fulfil orders and completedispatch via the Royal Mail Click & Drop system (or alternative couriers), ensuring collection at the end of each day.Safety and SecurityYou will carry out all tasks and activities wearing appropriate PPE and taking appropriate Health & Safety measures in line with risk assessments. You will ensure To ensure that the organisation complies with all procedures relating to Health & Safety, security,GDPR, influencing any changes necessary to meet statutory requirements, actively managing the risk to staff, contractors, customers and the organisation. You will carry out annual portable appliance testing (training would be provided) and it may be necessaryto undertake any other duties or general tasks and hours of work as may reasonably be required and to work in other locations within the organisation.You will be educated to GCSE standard and have a working knowledge of Microsoft and Apple packages. If you have flat bed printing training, this would be an advantage. Experience of working in a print production and / or warehouse environment with stockmanagement experience is essential. You will have the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and be committed to Health & Safety with experience of packing and dispatch both UK and internationally to both consumer, retail and business
