Graduate Accountant - Kingston-upon-ThamesCan you commute to the outside of Kingston three days a week Being able to drive to this location is key!£26,000 - £30,000 + Full Study Support.We are looking for a bright graduate looking for a varied finance role.Awesome Culture and great team!Do you want to help build and shape a new FP&A function for one of the fastest-growing and exciting businesses in Surrey.The key to this role is being a fun, outgoing and commercial finance professional.We are looking for a bright and commercial financial analyst who has the ability to learn and develop.Wish List:

This is reporting directly into the Head of Finance and is offering lots of support and development.The RoleAs the successful Graduate Financial Analyst, you will work directly with the Head of Finance to support financial planning and analysis activities across the wider group of companies.You will be responsible for providing valuable insights and actionable recommendations based on your analysis, which will contribute to the overall financial health and strategic decision-making of the organisation.Your ability to work autonomously and handle multiple projects as they arise will be key to your success in this role.Responsibilities: All of which can be taught.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Finance to develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets for the group of recruitment companies.
  • Perform variance analysis, identifying trends, and highlighting areas of concern or opportunity.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and providing insightful commentary.
  • Proactively identify areas for financial improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue growth through in-depth analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports using PowerBI, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their financial needs and provide ad-hoc analysis as required.
  • Take ownership of projects and initiatives, demonstrating initiative and drive to deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A bright graduate with good excel and some finance experience.
  • Fun, outgoing and commercial.
  • Self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
