Job Description for daily Housekeeper in Walton-on-Thames Position: PermanentJob Reference: DB745Job Title:Daily HousekeeperLocation:Walton-on-Thames, SurreyNumber of Children: G12, G9Pets: NoneSalary: £40,000 to £45,000 gross per annumHoliday: 28 days holiday per year (5.6 weeks) to include bank holidaysStart Date: ASAPHours Required: Monday to Friday - 9:30am-7:30pm (8am - 2pm on Saturday if possible. This is an optional add-on and happy to pay additionally for this)Driver: A driver with own carSummary:This is a lovely Housekeeper role, working with a family of four, living in Walton on Thames. The family are looking for a long-term Housekeeper.Duties will include:

  • Full cleaning and laundry to a very high standard and proactive in keeping home tidy and well maintained at all times.
  • Wardrobe management
  • Making weekly grocery lists and putting away groceries when they are delivered, keeping the fridge clean and organised.
  • Meal prep daily and some cooking as well (family happy to help you learn how they like things.)
  • Help with basic gardening when requested, looking after house plants, sweep the porch area, clean outdoor furniture, etc.
  • Driving (Taking kids to some activities. The girls take the bus to and from school.)
  • Flexibility for evening/weekend babysitting (with notice)
Weekly cleaners are employed.This role will suit you if you are looking for a long-term role. Yu will be warm, personable, efficient, proactive and can see what needs to be done. You will be naturally tidy and clean, and friendly towards the family and visitors and caring towards thechildren, Cooking is part of the role, but the family are happy to help you learn.
