Job Description

Assistant Site Accountant is required for one of the UK leading manufacturing sites based in Liverpool. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join one of the UKs best loved brands and be part of this iconic company.Based on site, this Assistant Site Accountant role will be reporting into the Regional Finance Manager within Supply Chain Finance you will provide pivotal support in a range of areas including preparing quarterly forecasts/budgets and performance reporting.In reward you will be paid a salary of c. £35,000 p.a. plus bonus, great benefits and lots of progression opportunities. Plus, youll have the privilege of working for this amazing brand.The successful Assistant Site Accountant will:

Be fully or part CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified;
Costing experience in the FMCG / manufacturing industry;
Experience of financial analysis, planning and forecasting;
Experience of using an ERPSAP or JD Edwards;

Duties of Assistant Site Accountant include:

Ensure decisions, plans and strategies are formulated on a sound commercial and financial basis;
Review and report performance against agreed budgets and forecasts;
Ensure compliance with statutory and group accounting procedures;
Business partner to site cost centre managers;
Complete the site budgets and monthly forecasting processes;
Standard product costing ownership including financial support for the development of new products;
Performance analysis and month end reporting.
