Are you a Semi Senior Accountant seeking a new opportunity at a growing firmOur client is an exciting growing firm based in Waltham Cross that will offer full support for your studies and will train and develop you to reach your potential.Your responsibilities will include:

Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and maintaining financial records.
Assist with the preparation of accounts for small businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Support senior team members in completing accounting compliance work, such as VAT returns and tax computations.
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to gather necessary information and resolve queries in a timely manner.
Take initiative to identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting department.

The successful candidate will

Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.
Previous experience in a similar accounting role is desirable but not essential.
A relevant accounting qualification or working towards one (e.g., ACCA) is preferred.
