Warehouse/Samples Co-ordinatorMust have driving licence.For a leading supplier of gifts and interior accessories to retailers of all sizes.Duties will include accepting goods in and signing for same; unpacking goods and distributing to correct area; lifting and moving of stockA UK passport and full driving licence are required. Forklift licence desirable as there will be occasional unloading of lorries but not essential as training will be given to the successful candidate.To manage and keep accurate records of all requests of stock samples from warehouse, including, samples needed for UK showroom to replace missing, damaged and those out on loan.Call down shipment samples from container intakes.Check products against showroom samples and report any discrepancies to SRM, QCM and BO.Check products against missing and outdated photographs on system and put through for re shoot as necessary, keeping records or reporting to photography dept.Pack and send out parcels for showroom and other departments when necessary.To assist in the showroom for display changes, removing items, labelling, pack down and re-set and help SRM train and supervise casuals for the same.To pay attention to upkeep of the site in general, recording or reporting any possible maintenance or health and safety issues to SRM, so good observational skills needed. Ability to work with minimal supervision required.Job will involve travel within the UK with overnight stays as well as travel to Paris and/or other overseas exhibitions (expenses paid).The successful candidate will be responsible and reliable with a positive can do attitude to this varied role.Hours: Mon-Fri 8.45am - 5.45pmBenefits include: 20 days paid holiday per annum, free light lunch provided daily if required.Wage: depending on age and experience - subject to discussion.Required skills
