National Account Manager - Waltham CrossHybridBetween £40,000 - £45,000 Role ProfileAn exciting opportunity for an Account Manager with experience within the food industry, to join a leading supplier of fresh fruit and vegetables in the UK, experiencing exponential growth. The ideal candidate will be a foodie and will be looking to progresstheir career.Key Responsibilities

  • Maximise the commercial opportunities within existing clients
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the customers within their portfolio
  • Identify commercial opportunities, based on data and statistical analysis, and develop plans to exploit them
  • Understand and work within agreed frameworks and policies
  • Accurately forecast customer demand on product variety and volume
  • Provide business reporting internally and to customers in an accurate and timely manner
  • Provide a responsive and customer-oriented service while ensuring the commercial well-being
  • Provide innovative solutions to customers
  • Support the sector team with unit level relationships and related activities
Skills & Experience
  • Previous account management responsibility within the Food and/or distribution sector
  • Strong influencing & negotiating skills with a passion for food
  • Be driven and passionate about own personal development
  • Comfortable with data reporting and presentation
  • Forward- thinking and ability to work closely together
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet changing deadlines,
  • Self-starter with exceptional communication and personable skills.
