Great opportunity for an experienced Guillotine & Platen Operator to support the busy finishing department for a global print communications company, based in North London.Shifts are as follows - Day shift: Mon to Friday and Night Shift: Mon to Thursday.You will assist in organising the workplace to high standards on the finishing floor, reporting any defects, hazards or issues to the relevant personnel immediately.You will be responsible for setting up the Guillotine / Platens in line with daily schedules.And you will carry out regular quality checks and complete designated process control documentation.SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS Experience working within a Cut & Crease Department is desirable.Experience operating guillotines and platens and used to working within a fast-paced, print manufacturing environment.You will have excellent communication skills and capable of following clear written and verbal best practice instructions.You’ll need to be a self-starter with good understanding of health and safety procedures and processes and be a highly responsible and reliable individual with a flexible with a strong work ethic.
