Job Description

Our Client are a leading importer and exporter of homeware and giftware and require a fluent French speaker to join our European Sales Administration team.Role:

  • Dealing with administration and confirmation of sales orders.
  • Supporting sales staff in Europe and liaising with them to assure that orders are processed correctly and that the customers requirements are met.
  • Communicating directly with customers via email and telephone to deal with queries and issues.
  • Working at tradeshows and at showrooms in the UK, France and Germany several times a year, serving customers, taking orders and answering questions.
  • Working with freight agents and warehouse staff to organise the logistics of collections and deliveries.
  • Processing customer credit requests.
  • Arranging special orders for Key accounts
  • Assisting with other ad hoc tasks and supporting other team members
  • Requirements:
  • Fluent in French and English (most of the work will be in French)
  • Experience in administration and in dealing with customers.
  • An organised multi-tasker who is able to prioritise their workload and work under pressure in a very busy team.
  • As the role involves working closely with sales representatives and directly with customers (both on the telephone and in person) it is essential that the candidate is confident and friendly with a good telephone manner.
  • Experience using Excel.
