Job Description

Group Financial Controller - Hotel/Asset Management CompanyHarper May is recruiting for a Group Financial Controller position for a rapidly growing owner and operator of Hotels across the UK and Europe. The business has doubled in size in the last 12 months and they will be growing their portfolio of Hotels from7 to 25 over the next few years.Key Duties for the Group Financial Controller:

  • As the Group Financial Controller you will be reporting to the Finance Director
  • Oversight of monthly finances for 7 sites
  • Assisting with weekly and monthly reporting to the owners
  • Assisting in developing and improving the Management Information Pack
  • Oversight of Cost/Margin and Profitability Analysis
  • Oversight of month end reporting
  • Supporting on acquisitions of new hotels and integrations
  • Provides input to the financial evaluation of business cases.
  • Works with the business teams to produce fit for purpose budgets and reforecasts.
  • Provides analysis as required to report, monitor and explain performance.
Key Requirements:
  • Been a previous Financial Controller
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry
  • Is a proactive self starter
  • Has been in a similar role previously
  • Strong communicator
  • Exceptional excel abilities
