Job Description

Are you an experienced Accountant seeking a fulfilling role in a dynamic, close-knit team Join a dedicated Accounts team at an electrical design company located in a scenic rural setting.TN Recruits Temps are collaborating with this exceptional company as they actively seek an individual with a passion for finance, a knack for detail, and a drive for excellence.Their Accounts team play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of financial operations, from sales ledger management to budgeting and reporting. Youll collaborate closely with the Accounts team to uphold financial accuracy and support the timely deliveryof projects.Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile financial ledgers with precision
Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly
Aid in crafting annual budgets and monthly management reports
Manage debtors, overseeing credit control and customer monitoring
Strengthen financial controls in line with established standards
Generate cashflow reports and manage liquidity
Produce monthly contract profitability assessments
Ensure accurate supplier setups and cost allocations
Reconcile CIS returns, purchase ledger, subcontractor ledger, and VAT accounts
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and ensure compliance with HMRC requirements
Maintain meticulous records for audit purposes
Provide occasional cover for the Accounts team during absences
Uphold quality management processes in compliance with BS 9001

Requirements:

Accounting qualification and a minimum of 3 years accounting experience
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in mathematical and budgeting principles
Strong analytical capabilities
Expertise in accounting software like Xero or QuickBooks
Construction industry experience (preferred, but not mandatory)
