An immediate opening for a Production Controller, based at our South London location.Production Controller£35k£40k (dependant on experience)36.5 Working week20 days holiday (pro rata)Annual Bonus (pro rata on year of joining)Life Assurance 3 x salaryPensions 3% EE and 6% ERSalary/Bonus SacrificePrivate Health CareCycle to work schemePrincipal responsibilities:Workshop activity planning, including overhauls and repairs. Identify and mitigate risks to fulfilling anticipated delivery dates by working with sales, workshop, and supply chain.Liaison and problem-solving with the workshop on a daily basis on production issues.Raise production/service orders for the workshop when units arrive from clients, either on a project schedule or ad hoc, and then plan in these orders to be worked on.In conjunction with buying, schedule components to arrive on time to meet customer order Purchasing subcontracts and coordinating subcontract activities with vendors directly.Process paperworkOrganizing incoming/outgoing product transportation as needed.In the absence of the Production Manager, deputises.Developing techniques to improve the efficiency of production lines.Education & Professional ExperienceA bachelors degree or an engineering background is required, as is a solid understanding of mechanical engineering procedures or extensive engineering expertise in a previous capacity.Experience with production control and planning is required.Specific Knowledge & Skills (EX: Language, IT skills)Excellent MS Office abilities are necessary.Experience with ERP systemsThe Navision ERP system is highly valued (but not essential as training will be given)
