Programme Test Director/Lead – S/4 HANATest Lead, Test Director, Testing Strategy, Test Management Office, S/4 HANA, ERP, WMS, Warehouse Management, Customer Investment Management, FMCG, Logistics, Distribution,6 Months contract – Extension highly likely£750 - £850 per dayUxbridge – 1-2 days per weekA Programme Test Director is required by our client, a well-respected consultancy firm operating onsite at their Global FMCG end client. As the Programme Test Director you will be responsible tor the Ongoing ownership and management of a Test Management Office(TMO) function in support of a major digital transformation across S/4 HANA and other applications.• Managing a team of Client & Partner Test Delivery, Test Governance and other Test specialists, providing leadership and assurance to ensure excellent delivery, whilst freeing the Client Head of TMO from basic Test Delivery overheads / administration• Working with each of the Workstreams (and future projects) to ensure suitable and proactive Test planning is delivered to the projects and not requested by the projects.• Responsible for oversight of 3rd party Test delivery including document review and sign off, resourcing, deliverable quality, issue resolution and necessary escalation.• Responsible for the high-quality delivery of testing services and the production of testing deliverables, with adherence to the Client Test Framework, and alignment to the governance model.• Supporting the Client Head of TMO as needed with Special projects, resources, deliverables, out of office support.• Form long term strategic relationships with 3rd party suppliers to provision industry leading testing services for the Client.• End to end management of the test tooling landscape to ensure consistency and adherence to the TMO Framework• Responsible for the management of testing demand within the client, including appropriate forecasting and planning.• Delivery of key Governance and Operational reporting, metrics and KPIs to Leadership• Applying TMO framework to support Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, Waterfall, and other hybrid approaches, as required.Experience• A highly experienced testing professional, with experience of test delivery and oversight roles across different types of technology change and testing projects, including software / applications, infrastructure, middleware, devices / end user computing,and digital / desktop services.• Highly capable people manager, adept at building and coaching a team of professionals with the right mix of grades, skills, and experience to support delivery and project growth; Able to motivate people, build a ‘learn it all’ rather than a ‘know it all’culture, and foster an environment in which everyone’s opinion is valued.• An advocate for Test Governance and Frameworks to ensure the correct controls are in place for an effective and efficient testing across the project portfolio.• Ownership of testing processes, strategy, approach, execution reporting, closure, and assurance on testingIn the first instance please submit your CV.
