Job Description

JOB – CNC / CAM Programmer, Engineer or SupervisorLOCATION – West Drayton UB7TERM- PermanentSALARY - £35,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)We are looking for a CNC Machinist, CAM Programmer or similar job title for a client in the West Drwayton / Uxbridge area with experience in CAD/CAM programming. This is for a mechanical manufacturing business who supply into regulated manufacturing sectors.Also considering supervisors with CNC exposureThe CNC / CAM Programmer or Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Experienced programming using CADCAM Software
  • Exposure to Edgecam, Solidcam or similar software
  • Programming Complex high value parts on CNC milling, turning and cutting Machines
  • Working with a wide range of materials
  • Experience in any regulated industry (automotive, aerospace, medical devices, rail or similar)
  • A background working to tight tolerances and working with high value components.
  • Ability to interpret Engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail
The CNC / CAM Programmer or Engineer role will involve:
  • To create Programs with the use of CAD / CAM software
  • Liaise with Design and other departments on improving processes.
  • Updating and maintaining material & consumable stock lists using Microsoft Excel, Work & Outlook
  • Office administration duties as required.
  • Helping to improve the efficiencies of the manufacturing line.
