The team of experienced engineers are qualified to the appropriatestandards and can be cleared to work within all UK nuclear facilities.Alongside their own products, they also offer comprehensive repair and calibration services for virtually all radiometric contamination and clearance systems available on the market, regardless of the specific brand. They also offer a range of upgrade packagesto remove product obsolescence issues and provide state-of-the-art detection limits and performance.The engineers are located throughout the UK, and the company offer prompt breakdown and callout services.The RoleThe Sales Administrator, reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, plays a crucial role in supporting sales and marketing initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and enhancing brand visibility. This position requires astrategic thinker with a proven track record in sales administration and marketing support, coupled with exceptional communication skills. The Sales Administrator will be instrumental in coordinating sales activities, managing administrative tasks, and ensuringseamless communication within the sales and marketing department.Key ResponsibilitiesSales and Marketing support:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Sales and Marketing Manager, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing documents and presentations, and maintaining accurate records of sales and marketing activities.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication within the sales and marketing team, as well as with other departments. Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Assist in coordinating sales activities, including preparing sales reports, analysing sales data, and monitoring sales pipelines. Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for maximising sales opportunities and achieving targets.
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns by coordinating logistics, managing promotional materials, and tracking campaign performance metrics. Assist in maintaining marketing databases and mailing lists..
Tender support
  • Proactively search for opportunities across various tender portals.
  • Manage documents with precision: from drafting and editing to formatting, compiling case studies, proofreading, and overseeing the overall administrative aspects of the bid process.
  • Attend bid kick-off meetings, provide proactive assistance to the bid team in adhering to bid timelines, guaranteeing that bid responses are meticulously prepared and delivered by the agreed-upon deadline.
  • Collaborate closely with the Commercial Manager and global teams (Sales Enablement, Product, Marketing, Services) to support the development of a robust and tailored repository of materials and resources tailored to the regions needs.
  • Assist the implementation of the companys chosen Bid Tool within the region, including user training and ongoing library maintenance
  • Introduce a bid log tool for streamlined bid tracking and statistical analysis.
Sustainability Champion:
  • Spearhead initiatives to integrate sustainable practices into business processes, promoting eco-friendly alternatives for office supplies, waste management, and energy consumption.
  • Actively research and implement green policies and procedures to minimise environmental impact within the workplace.
  • Advocate for sustainable practices among colleagues by organising educational workshops, seminars, or awareness campaigns.
  • Monitor and track progress towards sustainability goals, regularly assessing and improving upon existing strategies.
  • Serve as a liaison between management and staff to facilitate the implementation of sustainable practices across departments.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales administration and marketing support, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
