Category Development Manager (Grocery) 12 month fixed term contract, great opportunity for permanentWhat you become part of:Soft drinks is an exciting, fast paced and always evolving category.But what is the perfect soft drinks range for our customersHow can we get shoppers spending more time down the aisle (in store or online) and make the category more exciting to shopAt Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, the Category Development Team are at the forefront of leading the soft drinks growth agenda. It’sall about being experts not just in soft drinks but also our consumers, shoppers and theenvironments in which we sell. You will be accountable for the delivery of category growth within your defined customer/environment. You will workhand in hand with key stakeholders including the Environment leads, Sales teams and directly with the Customerto deliver against defined objectives through unlocking insight from data and providing actionable recommendations.What you’ll be doing in this role:Engage the business and your customer with compelling insight that become actionable category recommendations with a strong focus on range, space, distribution and value creation Create and deliver an engaging and sustainablecategory plan that is built fromboth our Category Vision and the retailer’s strategy that aligns objectives and is measured quarterly You will champion the voice of the consumer and the shopper and build strong relationships across the business You will understand the commercial implicationsof decisions but will remain credible to support the delivery of category growth recommendations You will identify best practice category management, and where possible, implement as common practice across environments, ensuring time is spent out in tradeto gain a broader perspectiveWhat we are looking for:FMCG experience withinCategory Management, ideally within the grocery channel Someone who can demonstrate passion, ownership and resilience for growing the category Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills Ability to turn data into actionableinsight using Nielsen/IRI/Kantar/Dunnhumby/Quantium/SIP) A team player who is empowered to win #RCoca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) is a major fast-moving consumer goods business and the world’s largest independent Coca-Cola bottler.
